ABOUT THE OFFERING
Amidst the constant consumption of our attention and hyper-connectivity that stretches our empathy past its limits, cultivating resilience is the key to sustaining life-affirming processes. It’s vital that we devote equal, if not more, effort toward nourishing our 'inner territory' to foster a sense of safety, respite, restoration, and creativity. While feelings of anxiety, overwhelm, burnout and shutdown may seem insurmountable during times of crisis and hardship, nurturing our inner landscape and empathic bodies can be the healing balm required to unlock our innate capacity for sustained aliveness.
The soma - the living body’s vibrant, fluid, and ever-changing system - is a source of inner wisdom and guidance that can provide a window into the natural cycles of the world around us and within us. By tuning into the heartbeat of life, we begin to harmonize with the interconnected systems that sustain us: from the micro to the macro, from the physical to the social. Engaging with our living empathic bodies is a practice of ecological and cultural attunement. It encourages us to align our rhythms with the world around us with discernment.
This Dynamic Soma workshop is an invitation to observe our uniquely rich inner landscape, and its needs in the present moment, while resourcing ourselves with the soma.
